First, choose your escape room. At Escape Room Cleveland, we have several different choices and themes that you can choose from. You will then need to pick a time and a date for your booking to hold your reservation. Please let us know how many people are in your party, since our rooms will hold 10-12 players. If you’d like to reserve the room just for your group, let us know, and we will book the room for the maximum number of players allowed.

Second, know that time matters! You will have 60 minutes from the time you are locked in the room to solve the puzzles to let yourself out. We will monitor the rooms both for safety and to examine your progress. If you want help or find yourself stumped, we have your back! Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take my cell phone in the room?

We do allow cell phones in the room in case of any emergency calls you may receive. However, any photography or video recording is STRICTLY prohibited in the rooms. Group photos will be taken in the lobby by our staff after your game.

Are we ACTUALLY locked in the room?

For the purposes of the game, you are “locked” in a room and you need to find a way to unlock the door in order to escape. However, the doors are held by 12 volt industrial magnets attached to an exit/panic button on both sides of the door. The customers have the option of using this button if necessary to step out of the room during a game.

How long is the game?

The game is 60 minutes, with a few minutes of introduction and explanation of rules. This is why we strongly suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your game.

Are there age restrictions?

No. However, we recommend anyone 13 or younger be accompanied by an adult.

How much does it cost to play?

Our regular price is $27.00.

How do I purchase tickets?

By booking online through our website using your credit or debit card. Each game has a maximum number of tickets that can be purchased for each session. If your group does not purchase all of the tickets for that game, the remaining tickets are still available for other customers to purchase.

What’s your refund policy?

We allow customers to change reservations up to 24 hours before their scheduled games. You must contact us by phone or email. There are no additional fees for rescheduling of games. There are NO refunds or reducing the number of players after bookings. We understand things happen, so if we are able to, we will work with our customers whenever possible.

Do you have special accommodations for corporate events?

Generally, mornings and afternoons are available for corporate or private events. Please call us at 440-360-7750 or email us at, and someone from our staff will contact you ASAP!

What if I’m late?

We will admit you, but we do encourage all our customers to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Please note that we reserve the right to modify the length of your game. Delaying a game can cause conflicts with other bookings. Please be considerate of other groups and arrive on time. No refunds are issued for late groups.

Can I bring a last-minute friend without a reservation?

As long as the game you reserved is not sold out, yes!

What is the smallest number of players allowed?

Each game must have at least two players. However, games with only two people are less likely to escape.

What if we have a group larger than you can fit in one room?

You will be divided into two groups and must book multiple rooms. You must purchase the appropriate number of available times to book back-to-back sessions. It’s perfect for competition!

What if I want to play only with my group?

Our average room size holds 10-12 people. If your group does not purchase all the tickets for an available session, the remaining tickets will still be available for purchase by other groups or individuals; you may be paired with other players.

Are food or beverages allowed?

Food and beverages are not permitted in the rooms.

What’s your alcohol policy?

Alcohol is prohibited on the premises. Please help us promote a family-friendly environment. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears to be physically intoxicated without refund.

Where should we park?

North Olmsted: Our parking is located directly behind Mickey’s Auto – rear of the building. Please do not park at the North Olmsted Animal Hospital (along the side of their building) or at Malley’s Chocolates. They reserve the right to tow vehicles.
